Reliance Jio has given another new gift to its customers on Wednesday.
In this special service of Jio, users will now be able to make clear voice and video calls through WiFi. This feature has been introduced as the company wants to provide better service and experience to its customers.

- Jio users can use Jio WiFi calling from any WiFi network across India
- Users will also be able to make video calls over Wi-Fi calls
- Voice and video calls can be seamlessly switched-over between VoLTE and Wi-Fi. This will improve calling experiences.
- Jio customers will not have to pay anything for all these services.
A few days ago, the company introduced this service in Delhi-NCR and Chennai circle, but it will be started across the country by 16 January. All a user needs to have is an active Jio plan.
And just so you may are well aware, in order to use this service it is not required for your phone to be connected with Jio's cellular network. I mean that is the whole motive behind introducing this service. Jio wants to help those who are located in those areas where there is a network problem.
How to Enable Reliance Jio Wi-Fi calling facility?
- Go to your phone's settings
- Tap on Connections/Network
- Search and Enable Wi-Fi calling option
- Connect to a Wi-Fi network to initiate a Wi-Fi call anywhere in India
- You must keep both VoLTE and Wi-Fi calling on.

Did you know Airtel also started this service last year? However, it can only be enjoyed on select handsets of brands like Apple, OnePlus, Samsung and Xiaomi, whereas Jio claims that their service will work on more than 150 handsets.
